After 15 years of national, international and local photography experience, A Better Exposure continues to live by that mantra producing nothing but exceptional fine art photography. Professional photographer Steve Kowalski and his wife Joan founded A Better Exposure to realize their dream of helping clients capture their dearest and most priceless moments.
Steve's roots are in California. Over the years, he has studied with multiple photographers, gaining experience in both private studio photography and corporate marketing. Steve holds multiple degrees in Psychology, Business and Philosophy. He lives in Omaha with his wife of 27 years and their three children - Steven, Kelsey and Kara. Outside of work, Steve likes to travel, run, bike, and swim.
We really enjoyed the urban engagement session experience with Jen and Charlie. They live in downtown Omaha and together, we came up with some scenic locations that they enjoy. Its always fun to include the home environment into a portrait session.
We all enjoy a great lighting show but this was so very cool to witness as Ryan and Laura were introduced to begin their first dance as husband and wife. Wedding Ceremony held at St Margaret Mary’s/Reception at the very elegant Joslyn Art Museum. They had everyone they knew there except their favorite puppy who was pampered with treats and a pedicure at a local doggie hotel.
Sunday’s Couple Susie Schinker and Zane Jones made their debut at the Country Club outdoor Wedding. With pleasant intermittent showers, the Wedding was officiated by Zane’s brother with a brief but strong message about the couples faith. Their Wedding Party was larger than normal with a total count of 29. It was again an honor to step in the lives of two who you know truly love each other. Congratulations Zane and Susie!
Omaha Wedding of Kay Gustafson and Brad Carne held downtown at Central Congregation and Holland Performing Arts for a contemporary backdrop to the downtown. Kay and Brad were so easy going and playful together. Their two children entertained the guests thru the evening and tree seedlings were given away as favors to the guests.
New Bride & Groom, Cindy and Mark, were married at St. Margaret Mary’s & had the Reception at Joslyn Art Museum over Memorial Day Weekend. They have known their love for many years and at long last made their vows this past Friday. What an honor to record their memories.Congratulations Cindy and Mark!
Senior Model, Katy attends Marian High School. I was immediately drawn to her passion with photography and music. Her goals; Ski Instructor in Telluride, Colorado, travel to Italy for a year, then become an attorney. You GO! We have another Session with Katy’s Senior Pics. Spring Color and Photography are the themes.
